Parents place baby in cot filled with frozen peas after he dies at 12-days-old

The heartbroken parents of a baby boy who died at just 12-days-old have revealed they bought frozen peas from the supermarket to create a makeshift cold cuddle cot for their son. Alice and Sam Taylor’s baby Thomas died after a cardiac arrest following a viral infection.

The tiny tot passed in an ambulance as he was rushed to hospital. But his loving parents wanted to take him home one last time before his funeral.

Unfortunately, there were no special cuddle cots, also known as cold cribs, available in the local area.
