The parents of the teen killed at rapist Jesse McFadden's home have said he texted them pretending to be her.
The bodies of mum Holly Guess, 35, and her children Rylee Elizabeth Allen, 17, Michael James Mayo, 15, and Tiffany Dore Guess, 13, were found at the home of convicted sex offender McFadden alongside the bodies of 14-year-old Ivy Webster and 16-year-old Brittany Brewer.
Police have said they believe McFadden shot all six in the head before killing himself.
In a heart-breaking interview, Ivy's parents revealed they think McFadden impersonated their daughter via text as she lay dead nearby.
Ivy's mum Ashleigh Webster said had been speaking to Ivy on Snapchat late on Saturday night and then received a message from her the next morning - but something about the final message felt off.
She told NewsNation: "I got a message the next morning, Sunday morning that was her phone but I don't believe it was from her anymore saying that they were going to McAlester and she would be home later."
Ivy's dad, Justin added: 'We think Jesse wrote that and probably had already happened at that point.'
He also revealed that some of the victims had been lined up.
Jesse McFadden, whose body was also found by authorities at the property, was set to appear in court on the same day that the grim scene was discovered at a home in Oklahoma.
McFadden was set to stand trial on charges of soliciting sexual conduct with a minor and possession of child sex abuse images on Monday.
McFadden appears on the state’s sex offender registry as Oklahoma Department of Corrections prison records show he was convicted of first-degree rape in 2003 and released in October 2020.
He was set to be in court on Monday for a jury trial but did not show up.
Justin also slammed law enforcement for allowing McFadden to roam free.
He said: "There's no reason why a monster should have been let out.
"If I could tell Ivy's story and get our government officials and everybody started speaking out loud about keeping these paedophiles in jail. The sexual registry does not work. It does not work at all."
The Webster's said:"We always tell our kids that monsters don't exist under your bed and in your closet, they're people.
"He hid it well. He hid it very well."
Janette Mayo, 59, of Westville, Oklahoma, said the sheriff's office notified her that the other four people found dead were her daughter, Holly Guess, 35, and her grandchildren, Rylee, 17, Michael, 15, and Tiffany, 13.
She said that her daughter Holly had married Jesse McFadden but that she had been "fooled by his charm".
"My daughter loved her children," she added. "I hurt just like the other families."
