Parents gave up jobs to see him shine, Harsh Dubey pays back with wickets aplenty

NAGPUR: Harsh Dubey's parents have sacrificed a lot to see their son achieve something big in cricket. The left-arm spinner's father, Surendra, took VRS from a government job that had regular transfers, to let Harsh focus on cricket in Nagpur. His mother, Jyoti, too gave up her teaching career to ensure her son goes through the grind.

The 19-year-old is ensuring his parents do not regret their decision. His efforts in the last few years have only had the Dubey couple smiling. On Wednesday, the left-arm spinner finished the season as the highest wicket-taker in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy with a whopping 45 wickets.
