About 60,000 parents in the UK are expected to benefit from the new neonatal care leave and pay entitlement from April 6.
Parents of babies in neonatal care will be entitled to an additional 12 weeks of leave, and pay if eligible, on top of parental leave from Sunday, in what campaigners say will make a “huge difference”.
