Hayley Williams has publicly confirmed she's dating Paramore bandmate Taylor York.
The 33-year-old lead singer stopped short of opening up on details of the relationship, but told fans the pair were an item after years of rumours.
Taylor, 32, had helped Hayley through several breakups since joining the band in 2007, including her split from former band mate Jeremy Davis and her short marriage to New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert.
Hayley made the revelation in a chat with The Guardian and fans seemed to be in mixed opinion to the news. While many followers of the band were overjoyed the pair had found love, others were more cautious about what it could mean for future music if they separate down the line.
They have recently released a video for their new song This Is Why and Hayley, along with the band's drummer Zac Farro, is set to play her first live show for over four years at the weekend.
The hiatus came as the members wanted to take stock of life events. Speaking to Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo, Hayley said: "We all really needed it to find our identity apart from Paramore and all the public projection we get in our life. I learned how introverted I really am."
And she continued to explain how the Covid lockdown had helped her to reconnect with her roots as much of the world was forced to stay inside.
The Grammy-winning emo group are regarded as one of the most influential of their generation and are set to take to the stage on their upcoming tour. In total, eight people have been a part of Paramore over the years, with Hayley being a mainstay.
Their latest album, also titled This Is Why, is the first time the makeup of the band hasn't changed in between album releases.
Taylor recently praised the star and the band and said they have never been stronger. He said that being in the band from a young age had made them all grow up fast "at the expense of other parts of yourself".
