Star Sydney forward Tom Papley is showing no lingering signs of his concussion and is set to play in the Swans' AFL qualifying final showdown against Melbourne on Friday night.
Papley suffered a knock in the Swans' final home-and-away game against St Kilda and was subbed out.
But the 26-year-old will exit the AFL's 12-day concussion protocols on Friday in time to face the Demons at the MCG.
The pre-finals bye has divided opinion since the AFL introduced it in 2016, but Swans co-captain Callum Mills is all for it when it allows Papley to play.
"It helps with 'Paps' coming back, so that was a huge bonus," Mills told reporters.
"If you ask 'Paps', he's the biggest fan in the world of it, but we're lucky in that instance.
"I think he's done everything that he needed to tick off, I'm pretty sure, so he's looking all right."
The Swans will enter the finals on a seven-game win-streak, with three of those victories coming against top-eight opponents.
Sydney can also take confidence from beating Melbourne at the MCG earlier in the season.
However, the reigning premiers have recaptured top-form after dispatching the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba in round 23.
"We like playing at the MCG, so we're keen to get down there and have a crack against Melbourne," Mills said.
"They're a seriously quality side and they've had good experience in September, so we're really looking forward to it."
Sydney will be unable to call on Peter Ladhams after the ruck-forward was offered a lengthy ban for rough conduct in the Swans' VFL final against Casey Demons last Saturday.
Ladhams has played 11 games this year, last featuring in the round 17 win against the Western Bulldogs.
