Pizza delivery chain Papa John’s has launched its own pizza-sandwich hybrid - and will be giving hundreds away for free. The Papadias comes in four flavours and are available to order right now.
A poll of 2,000 UK found Brits vote sandwiches, pizza and toasties as favoured lunchtime options, with two-thirds of people bored of their usual lunches. Londoners took the top spot as being the most bored of their lunches, followed by Manchester which came in a close second, followed by Bristol.
Those three locations will be offered free Papadias between Wednesday and Friday this week (April 27-29). The flavours are: Philly Cheesesteak, Italian Sausage & Pepperoni, BBQ Chicken & Bacon and Philly Mushroom, which is also available in vegan.
Giles Codd, Senior Marketing Director at Papa John’s UK, said: “It’s clear from the research that Brits are bored of their lunch options and on the lookout for a new alternative, so we’re excited to offer Papadias to stores nationwide as a lunchtime option.”
"Heading back to the office shouldn’t mean stale sarnies and tired meal deals. Papadias make an ideal lunchtime alternative to enjoy at work or on-the-go that challenges the boring lunchtime routine and is set to be a menu favourite.”
