Paolo Nutini spotted in Glasgow restaurant as he poses with staff for snap

Paolo Nutini delighted staff at a Glasgow restaurant when he popped in for a bite to eat.

The Candy singer stopped by popular eatery Halloumi in the south side of the city to enjoy some grub as he took a break from his current UK tour.

The Greek restaurant took to social media to share a snap of a member of staff posing for a photo with the Paisley singer, and said that their well-kent visitor was "what mezze loving dreams are made of".

They wrote: "Spotted: Paolo Nutini visiting our Southside House of Halloumi. What mezze loving dreams are made of!"

The star looked relaxed as he donned a causal white t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Next month the singer is set to play a run of four homecoming gigs at Glasgow's OVO Hydro.

Last month, he kicked off his tour in Manchester where he told fans he was nervous about his comeback after being off the music scene for eight years. Paolo thanked his fans and said that he was "grateful" for them coming to see him as he knows just how expensive concerts are these days.

In the summer, Paolo released his latest album Last Night In The Bittersweet, and followers of the musician went wild. The much anticipated album was the first music the star released since 2014, just ahead of his comeback performance at TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow Green in July.
