Paolo Nutini fans demand UK shows after singer announces Italy dates

Paolo Nutini has just announced an Italy-wide tour on his return to live shows, which will follow his summer appearance Glasgow's TRNSMT Festival.

However fans have taken to social media to demand dates for a UK tour as the Scottish singer posted the list of places he would be visiting on his Italian stretch.

The Paisley-born songwriter has been on a music-writing hiatus for the last eight years as his last album, Caustic Love, was released back in 2014.

He appeared at the Paisley Abbey in 2017 to perform at a charity-led concert for Syrian refugees, and has done odd gigs here and there - but hasn't toured the UK since 2015.

The 33-year-old singer hasn't been active on any social media since August 2019, and has finally given his fans some respite as he announced a few appearances at festivals, including Glasgow's TRNSMT Festival in July.

The 'Coming Up Easy' singer posted a tour poster with his Italy dates, captioning it on Twitter: "Tickets on sale 17.03.22"

While this was met with lots of excitement from fans on the continent, many UK-based fans have called out for some more dates in the UK, other than big festival appearances.
