Paolo Nutini is set to play Malahide Castle on Friday night with thousands of Irish fans expected to flock to the well-known venue.
The Scottish singer-songwriter, 36, announced last year that he would play a massive outdoor gig in Dublin on Friday, 16 June. His most popular songs include 'Candy' and 'Last Request.'
Nutini's latest gig in Dublin follows his #1 album “Last Night In The Bittersweet” which was released in 2022.

How to get to Malahide Castle
Gardai and concert promoters MCD are urging those attending Friday's concert to use public transport to get to Malahide Castle if possible. If you're thinking about travelling by Dublin Bus, there's two services that go straight to Malahide.
The routes 32 and 42 go from the city centre up to Malahide Village. Meanwhile, if you'd prefer a private coach Marathon Coaches is offering its services for €20. This bus service will drop and pick up concertgoers at the Yellow Walls Rd Entrance / Exit and directly opposite St Sylvester's Catholic Church.
The bus service will start returning from Malahide Castle from 10:30pm, and the final bus of the night leaves at 11:30pm outside the venue. For those who prefer taking the DART, there's nearby Malahide Train Station.
It is then a 15-minute walk to Malahide Castle, and other city centre DART locations include Grand Canal Dock, Pearse, Tara Street and Connolly Stations.

What time do gates open at Malahide Castle?
For the Paolo Nutini gig on Friday, MCD has confirmed that gates will open at 5pm and showtime is expected to get underway from 6pm. Concert promoters MCD are urging ticket holders to arrive "in good time" and to avoid queuing too early.
Stage times and support acts
The support on Friday night at Malahide Castle will be from Julia Jacklin & NEWDAD. Irish indie rock band NEWDAD are likely to be the first to perform from 6pm, followed up by Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin at around 7:5pm. Paolo Nutini is expected to take to the stage at Malahide Castle for around 8:30pm.

Banned items at Malahide Castle
There are a list of banned items that ticketholders can't bring into Malahide Castle for the Paolo Nutini gig on Friday. The full list of prohibited items are:
- Backpacks
- Bags over A4 size
- Garden furniture like deckchairs, fold up chairs etc
- Selfie sticks
- Flares/fire works
- Laser pens
- Air horns
- Aerosals
- Smoke and gas canisters
- Drones and professional cameras
Other important things to know
MCD and Malahide Castle has said that ticketholders are not allowed to bring alcohol or drinks into the park or venue, although water and soft drinks are allowed they must be in plastic bottles up 500ml. There are also water drinking water points onsite, as well as bins.
Some food venues at Malahide Castle will take card payments. Meanwhile, all venue bars will have contactless card payment facilities on the night.
All Under 16’s attending the gig must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the gig. Anyone aged under 16 who is unattended will be removed from the gig.
Weather
According to Met Eireann, Friday is likely to not be as warm as previous days this week. The national forecaster has predicted "heavy and persistent showers" will spread northwards to most areas through the day.
There's also a chance of isolated thunderstorms, so it's best that people attending this outdoor gig pack themselves a rain coat just to to be prepared. possible. Top temperatures will range from 19 degrees to 22 degrees.
