Paolo Nutini announces new Scottish tour dates - and tickets go on sale tomorrow

Paolo Nutini has announced his long-awaited return to the stage in Scotland.

The Last Request singer is scheduled to play TRNSMT festival in Glasgow this year, as well as a string of dates across Europe.

But until now the Paisley star had been holding off on releasing tickets for any Scottish venues for fans to hear his much anticipated new music.

The 35-year-old has kept somewhat of a low profile since the release of his last album Caustic Love, which was released more than eight years ago.

His last gig appearance came in April 2017, when Paolo played a hometown gig at the incredible Paisley Abbey.

This morning the musician finally dropped the news fans have all been waiting for - a new crop of concerts in Scotland this month.

Paolo will play gigs in Sheffield, London and Oban before his TRNSMT appearance at Glasgow Green.

And anyone who wants to be there will need to move quick as the tickets go on sale today (Monday) at 9am, with the concerts taking. place this month.

Announcing the happy news this morning, he simply said: "Tickets on sale tomorrow 9AM - link in bio."

Last week we reported Paolo had been keeping himself busy ahead of his comeback gigs, and was all smiles when he was spotted nipping in for a drink at a well-known Celtic pub in Glasgow.

The singer was pictured alongside a starstruck member of staff at The Brazen Head in the city’s South Side.

His appearance came just hours before the Parkhead side’s 4-1 league victory against Hearts - which all but secures the Hoops' name on the Scottish Premiership trophy for this season.

The Brazen Head captioned the picture: “In for a pint after buying some new shoes.”

Many of his fans were quick to comment on the picture - with many making reference to the singer’s chart-topping work.

One wrote: “He’s got some new shoes on and suddenly everything is right.”

Another added “New shoes in these streets, hail hail.”
