Lost in all the excitement over yesterday’s result was the fact that DJ Moore was not on the field for three of the offense’s 72 snaps. So, hopefully for the Carolina Panthers, they won’t lose their star wideout completely.
As reported by NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport on Monday morning, Moore will undergo tests to gauge the severity of an ankle injury he sustained in the Week 14 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
#Panthers WR DJ Moore, who exited Sunday's win early, will have imaging done today on his ankle, source said. Tests will determine the seriousness of the injury.

The 25-year-old made an early exit from the victory, one in which he recorded zero receptions over three targets. He would, at least, register six rushing yards on two carries.
Sunday marked just the second game in which Moore finished with a doughnut in the catch department. He last hit that number back in his NFL debut, when he was on the field for 17 offensive snaps in the 2018 opener against the Dallas Cowboys.
Moore has had himself a pedestrian campaign by his standards, as he’s up to just 605 receiving yards with four games remaining. If he’s set to miss any time, which is especially untimely given Carolina’s suddenly decent chances at a playoff spot, he may very well fail to hit the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the first time since that rookie year.
