Panthers roster heading into Week 5 vs. Bears

Carolina Thomas Incoom TJ Smith

The Carolina Panthers made a few moves before tomorrow’s visit to the Windy City.

Inside linebacker Shaq Thompson, who tore his Achilles tendon in the Week 4 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, has been placed on injured reserve. The placement has effectively ended his 2024 season.

Carolina also elevated a pair of defenders for the matchup against the Chicago Bears—calling up lineman T.J. Smith and outside linebacker Thomas Incoom from the practice squad.
