Are the Carolina Panthers about to take two Young-ins to kick off their 2023 NFL draft?
Not to be confused with University of Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, University of Tennessee outside linebacker Byron Young has reportedly chalked up a top-30 visit with the Panthers. First with the news was ESPN senior NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, who also noted that Young has visited at least 10 other teams.

A Georgetown, S.C. native, the local boy attended Carvers Bay High School in Hemingway. He then moved on to Georgia Military College in 2020, where he posted 31 tackles and 7.0 sacks in 11 games.
Young enrolled at Tennessee in January of 2021. In his first season on Rocky Top, he amassed 46 total tackles (11.5 for a loss), 5.5 sacks and an interception.
He followed that up with a solid 2022, having collected 7.0 sacks over 13 games for the Volunteers.
The 6-foot-2, 250-pounder could be a third or fourth-round option for the Panthers, who are looking to add some pass rushers to their stable.
