Even before they lost a favorite in DJ Moore, many Carolina Panthers fans were probably bracing for the loss of longtime linebacker Shaq Thompson. But they don’t have to brace any longer.
On Saturday night, the team announced they’ve come to a new two-year agreement with Thompson—who was a candidate to be cut heading into the opening of free agency this week. And it looks like the faithful are quite happy to see the 2015 first-round pick stick around for a ninth season.
