Recently released 911 records indicate that NFL quarterback Dwayne Haskins told his wife that he was attempting to get gas for his car before he was fatally struck on a highway in south Florida by a dump truck last week.
On 9 April, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was attempting to cross I-595’s westbound lanes when he was hit by a truck at approximately 6.30am near the Fort Lauderdale International Airport, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
