The Publicity Association of Northern Ireland (PANI) has launched its awards for 2022.
They will feature 29 categories across the six core themes of television, press, outdoor, radio, digital and magazine advertising. The contribution of Media Owners and Sponsors will also be recognized, as will work on an international platform.
“Our key aim at PANI is to promote excellence across all aspects of the advertising, marketing and allied media industries,” Chair of PANI, Rebecca Rodgers, said.
“In such a fast-changing world, creativity cannot stand still and it is that resilience, flexibility and continual innovation that we will be seeking to recognise and celebrate through this year’s Awards.

“There are undoubtedly countless examples of great campaigns and we would encourage all our colleagues across Northern Ireland to get involved and enter this year’s awards.”
Also new for 2022 is the addition of awards for Best Cinema Campaign and expanded TV, Outdoor and Digital categories. Recognising emerging talent is the subject of another new category – Rising Star of the Industry.
The judging panel, Chaired by Creative Consultant Billy Mawhinney, will comprise another twelve highly experienced and eminent advertising executives from throughout the UK.
“It has been 5 years since we last held these Awards so we’re going all out to create an amazing event for 2022,” PANI Awards Chair, Pauline Moore, said. “The theme will be ‘Hollywood glamour’ and I’ve no doubt that red carpet opulence will be fully embraced by all those who attend.

The PANI Awards website will be live mid-July to receive entries with the final closing date for submissions being 5pm on Wednesday 31 st August 2022.
