Pan Nalin India Ashoke Pandit

Amidst allegations that 'Chhello Show', India's official entry to the Oscars 2023 is a copy of the Academy Award-winning 1988 film 'Cinema Paradiso', director Pan Nalin has finally reacted.

Taking to his Twitter handle, the director shared the viral side-by-side stills of his Gujarati film and the classic Italian movie. Using the controversy as a tool to promote his film, he tweeted, "Copy? Homage? Inspiration? Original? Find out yourself on 14.10.2022 in cinemas near you. Power to the people, let them decide."
