Paloma Faith has described 2022 as “f***ing s***” in a candid post, following her reported split last year.
The singer, 41, was said to have announced her break-up with long-term partner Leyman Lahcine as she attended Jonathan Ross’ annual Halloween party.
Faith admitted she’s been left a “broken woman” in a recent post, months after the split reports, as she arrived in Rome, Italy, with her two young children, shared with Lahcine, 35.
The artist took to Instagram to write: “Omg I am a broken woman getting two kids to Rome alone but I’m here and I’m very dishevelled and I am grateful for everyone who supported me in 2022 cause it was f***ing s***!”
Faith shared her promise for 2023, however, as she added: “But I’ve got good feelings about next year! Good times are coming.”
The Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer and Lahcine were together for nine years, and went on to have two daughters, aged five and one.
Faith previously thanked fans for their support after the “most difficult” year in a reflective post shared on Instagram, days before Christmas.
Beside a montage of photos posted from her happier moments in 2022, Faith wrote: “Thank you all for supporting me during what was one of the most difficult years of my adult life!
“No matter what was going on you guys were there at the shows and watching the acting and listening to me do constant TMI on all platforms! #palomafaith #goodbye2022 #newyear #workingmum #onlylovecanhurtlikethis”.
Faith and Lahcine were reported in November to have split after a “strained” relationship, according to a source.
They told The Sun: “Paloma and Leyman have ended their relationship and she is very much single.
“She was living her best life at Jonathan’s party and was the life and soul of the bash.’
The source added: “Things between Paloma and Leyman became strained over the past year and they’re no longer together – although they co-parent their children together. Everyone was pleased to see her so happy after a tough few months.”
