Islamabad: Pakistan on Sunday braced for a protest by jailed former prime minister Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party after it announced plans to proceed with its long march following the failure of talks with the government.
The second round of talks between government negotiators and Khan's party leaders began at 4 pm on Saturday and continued through the night before ending early Sunday without a breakthrough.
