Paisley star Paolo Nutini has today unveiled dates for his UK and European tour.
But local fans will have to get their hitch-hiking thumbs out if they want to attend, with the closest gig in Edinburgh.
We told you last week how Paisley’s favourite son delighted fans with new music.
That saw the release of ‘Through The Echoes’ and ‘Lose It’ ahead of his July 1 album release, ‘Last Night in The Bittersweet’.
His long-awaited return comes after his last live performance at Paisley Abbey in 2017.
It had previously been announced that he was due to perform in Oban, Glasgow (TRNSMT) and London later this year.
He has now revealed an 18-date tour, starting in Limerick on August 21, before going to Dublin three days later.
He will then move onto the continent, first performing in Leipzig on September 26, with 10 dates in total.
Returning to the British Isles, he will perform in Manchester on October 22 before playing London, Birmingham and Hull before the end of that month.
The Scottish chart topper will then head north to perform in Edinburgh, with a Hallowe’en show at the city’s O2 academy.
His last gig will then be in Aberdeen on November 1 at the city’s Music Hall.
In 2009, the singer released his second album Sunny Side Up, which was a huge success with a raft of hit songs including ‘Candy’, ‘Pencil Full of Lead’ and ‘Coming Up Easy’.
In December 2014, album ‘Caustic Love’ came out and sent fans wild with a new range of tunes.
In September last year, it was announced that Paolo would be making his musical comeback and be headlining TRNSMT Festival at Glasgow Green in July 2022.
Tickets to see the award-winning crooner are available via Paolo’s website.
