Tributes have poured in for a Paisley motorcyclist who died in a crash between a motorcycle and car on the A82 north of Luss.
Andrew Jowett, 37, was riding a blue Suzuki motorcycle when the crash, involving a white Skoda Scala, occurred on the northbound carriageway around 6.40pm on Tuesday (June 13). He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but sadly died a short time after.
Family and friends have paid heartfelt tributes to Andrew, describing him as "one in a million", the Daily Record reports.

Posting to Facebook, Craig Jowett said: "It's in our moments of silence we reflect on times we've had, memories we've shared and people we've lost its hard to grip hold of the reality that you've gone . I've had a few days now to process and reflect and I still can't understand why you were chosen to be taken away so soon. You won't ever understand how much you are missed and loved. I'm so blessed to have known you so sad to have lost you but so happy to have you as family. Missing you so much already
"You will always be the big cousin I looked up to and wanted to follow. Andrew Jowett until we see each other again."
Liz Murphy-Parsons added: "Life can be so cruel sometimes. Fly high little cuz Andrew Jowett you'll sadly be missed by all, loved our little chats, till we meet again."
Also paying tribute, Arran Paddy Green said: "Can’t believe I'm writing this, we were only laughing and joking and talking about our future the other day in mine and how good things are getting now this. RIP Andrew Jowett you were one in a million, best dad, best guy and one of the happiest most positive people I know, gutted to think your gone and I won’t see ye again but until then.
And Paul Logan said: "Utterly heartbroken to lose a great friend this morning. I was lucky enough to be able to say goodbye one last time by his bedside.
"Rest easy Brother Andrew Jowett. Love you mate."
Police Scotland is appealing for information about the collision following the crash.
Sergeant Brian Simpson, Dumbarton Road Policing Unit, said: "Our thoughts remain with Andrew’s family and friends.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the crash and I am appealing for anyone, not already been spoken to by police, who witnessed the crash or saw the two vehicles prior to the collision, to get in touch.
"I am particularly keen to hear from the drivers of a dark coloured Volkswagen Touareg and a white Arnold Clark hire van who were in the area at the time. It’s possible they may have information or have dash-cam footage that will be of help to our investigation."
