Ambulance crews rushed to Paisley after a man was 'stabbed' in the town centre.
The Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) were called at to Causeyside Street in Paisley at 9.30pm on Tuesday. The alarm was raised after reports of an 'incident' in the area.
Locals took to social media claiming that a 'guy' had been 'stabbed' on Causeyside Street. One alleged that a man was seen with 'bandages round his head' after he appeared to have 'lost a lot of blood' while another claimed women were heard 'screaming' in the area.

One local wrote: "A guy's been stabbed."
A witness posted: "When I walked past they were wrapping a guy's head up in bandages. It looks as if his head was burst open."
A third commented: "That's where I saw him sitting with police, the guy lost a lot of blood."
Another added: "It all kicked off when I walked by. Lassies screaming, I just walked on."
SAS chiefs confirmed that one ambulance was sent to the scene and a man was taken to hospital. SAS failed to disclose the man's age, the nature of his injuries, his current medical condition or the hospital he was taken to.
A spokesman told Glasgow Live: “We received a call at 9.30pm on Tuesday to attend an incident on Causeyside Street in Paisley. We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and transported one male patient to hospital.”
When Glasgow Live approached Police Scotland they said they had 'no record of the incident'.
A spokeswoman said: "We have no record of this incident or any such incident in Paisley. It may have been that police were not called as there is no record of any incidents that they were involved with in Causeyside Street last night."
