The family of a Renfrewshire man found dead at Glencoe has spoken out after police formally identified his body.
A body was discovered in water at Lochan Na Craoibhe on Wednesday, June 29. Officers on Friday confirmed that the deceased was Gordon Don from Paisley.
The 48-year-old's 'sudden death' is not being treated as suspicious. Gordon's loved ones released a short statement lamenting that he has 'gone too soon'.
It read: “Gordon has gone too soon. He will be sadly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.”

Police expressed their condolences at 'this difficult time' and thanked members of the public who helped with their appeal. A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Sergeant Joe Newson said: “Our thoughts are with Gordon’s family at this difficult time and they have asked for privacy. I would also like to thank the public who responded to our appeal to identify Gordon.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and, as with all sudden deaths, a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
