Paisley detectives were spotted scouring the scene of a murder bid as the investigation into the violent attack continues.
Officers were out in force in Glenburn all day yesterday as extensive searches were carried out in a number of streets in the area following the stabbing on Wednesday night.
Plain clothes police officers could be seen collecting evidence from the scene, with a number of officers standing guard on residential streets including Donaldswood Road and Fereneze Drive.
A 34-year-old man remains in serious condition in the Queen Elizabeth University after being repeatedly stabbed by a gang of three thugs.
Police Scotland confirmed investigations are continuing today following the attempted murder which took place outside the Jet garage in Gleniffer Road around 8.20pm.

Cops have now launched a manhunt to trace the gang of three men responsible for the attack which has been condemned as “tragic” and an “unnecessary act of violence”.
Renfrewshire Labour leader and Paisley Southeast councillor Eddie Devine said: “It was a real shock to hear about this horrific act of violence in the community.
“We all need to do what we can to prevent these tragic and unnecessary acts of violence in our streets.”
