Five-star defensive linemen Justus Terry and Elijah Griffin are both projected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs. The two elite defensive line recruits are visiting the University of Georgia over the last weekend in July.
“I think those are two five-stars that it is hard for us to not see them in Georgia’s class,” said recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong of On3. “Even when Justus Terry committed to USC, if you would have asked me a minute after he announced to USC, back during the spring. Where I thought he would sign come December I would have said Georgia.”
“I just think right now it is trending heavy for Georgia to land them (Justus Terry and Elijah Griffin) both,” continued Wiltfong.
Terry decommitted from the USC Trojans several months ago and then Terry took an official visit to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Terry would be one of the defining pieces of Georgia’s class of 2025 if the Bulldogs can sign him. Terry, who was previously committed to Georgia, is ranked as the No. 7 recruit in the nation, per On3.
Justus Terry is the second-ranked recruit in Georgia and the second-ranked defensive lineman in the nation. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound defensive lineman plays high school football for Manchester High School in Manchester, Georgia.
Elijah Griffin, who is the No. 4 recruit in the country, plays high school football for Savannah Christian Prep in Savannah, Georgia. Griffin is the top recruit in Georgia and the top defensive line prospect in the nation.
Georgia loves landing top tier defensive line talent and the best players in the Peach State. Griffin and Terry check both of those boxes and would represent massive recruiting wins for Georgia.
Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia football have the nation’s No. 3 recruiting class in the 2025 cycle. If Georgia can land Terry and Griffin, then the Dawgs will be in the conversation to have the top class in the country.
