Pair charged after allegedly trying to enter UK nuclear naval base

An Iranian man and a Romanian woman have been charged after allegedly attempting to enter a UK nuclear naval base, the HM Naval Base Clyde in Scotland.
Police Scotland announced the charges following the incident at Faslane on Friday.
The individuals, a 34-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, were arrested and subsequently charged.
They are scheduled to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, March 23.
Faslane is a critical military site, housing the UK's submarine fleet and the Trident nuclear deterrent.
