Paige Thorne says one couple from this year's Love Island are 'faking relationship'

A former Love Island Contestant believes on of the couples from the 2022 show are faking their relationship. Paige Thorne, who recently split from Adam Collard, made the claim during an interview.

Whilst the Swansea-born paramedic did not name the couple she was talking about, describing it a secret that she would "never tell", there are only a handful of couples still together from the most recent series. Including winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, and Gemma Owen and Luca Bish reports Wales Online.

However, Paige counted just three couples and claimed there were only two of these were genuine. During the "say it or shot it" game on Saving Grace's podcast, Paige was questioned: "Who is the fakest couple to come out of Love Island this year?"

To which Paige answered: "All I'm going to say on this right, is, there are how many couples left? Three. There are three couples left, really there's only two - but that's a secret I'll never tell."

Paige then took a shot of alcohol, and refused to say which couple she was referring to. During the same interview, the Welsh reality star also broke her silence on her split from Adam Collard.

She said: "I'm single – living my best life. No, I'm joking, it's been a really s**t time."

Paige also revealed that she had been in contact with Jacques O'Neill, who she was originally coupled up with before he quit the series. She said: "There has been slight contact."

"No contact of the lips, come on, let's not forget how this boy done me in Casa [Amor]. Obviously we had a vibe in there.

"But he done me over. Fine. But we're just going to see where things go.

"I am in zero rush to be with any other men in my life because men are trash."
