Paedophile who raped teen after drugging her dies in prison

A sick paedophile who forced a teenager to have sex with him after giving her drugs had died in prison. Lenford Lloyd White was handed a ten-year sentence in 2018 when he was 64 years old.

He was found guilty of three counts of sexual activity with a child after he forced the victim to have sex with him and others at a flat in Gorton, Manchester. The beast was 55 at the time he began abusing the teen, reports the Manchester Evening News.

White was introduced to the female by associate Miquil Lucas Diozzi, who was also jailed. The paedo became unwell in prison and was said to have spent months in hospital in Manchester before he died on March 19, 2020.

An inquest in to White's death at Manchester Crown Court this week heard that he had first abdominal surgery for a suspected small bowel obstruction in May 2019, where he had his inflamed appendix removed and was discharged back to HMP Manchester.

White was admitted again to North Manchester General Hospital two months later and remained there until his death in March. He was said to be experiencing abdominal discomfort and liquid was detected in his abdominal cavity.

In a second operation in September surgeons discovered his bowels were 'clumped together' and made a tear and repaired them in an effort to separate the bowels. The tear, the court heard, delayed any further treatment by another six months.

After the surgery, White was put on intravenous nutrition where there were difficulties accessing the line. He failed to comply with the nutrition regimen and lost 25 per cent of his body mass.

The inquest heard his abdominal wound started leaking and bowel bacteria were discovered in his abdomen. A third surgery was not possible due to complications and he became immobile. He was also suffering from sepsis and was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

His condition was said to have deteriorated until March 19 when he died.

Recording a narrative conclusion, assistant coroner Angharad Davies said: "Mr Lenford Lloyd White was admitted to North Manchester General Hospital on the 15 August 2019 due to abdominal discomfort. Complications during surgery, multiple co-morbidities and difficulties to maintain nutrition led to Bronchopneumonia, which ultimately caused the death of Mr White."
