Padraig Harrington is set for a big payday after finishing in a tie for 10th at the Texas Open.
The Dubliner shot 71 on Sunday to finish on a score of 8-under-par for his four days work to secure a best finish on the PGA Tour since his coming fourth at the 2021 PGA Championship.
For his efforts, Harrington will take home a huge cheque of €191,005 ($206,925) for finishing in a tie for 10th alongside Rickie Fowler, Chris Kirk, Ben Martin and Hayden Buckley.
Corey Connors was the winner of the event and he walked away with a gigantic cheque of €1,478,200 ($1,602,000)
Despite the impressive performance, Harrington, who needed a win to qualify for next week's Masters, will not feature at Augusta National this year.
The reigning US senior champion hasn't won on the PGA Tour since the 2015 Honda Classic, however, will be buoyed by his performance as he heads into a crucial part of the season.
