Padmanabh Singh, South Africa's Lance Watson shine as Team Jaipur win Sawai Man Guard Polo Cup

JAIPUR: Team Jaipur USPA edged past Carysil Polo by a wafer-thin margin of 8-7 to emerge champions in the Sawai Man Guard Cup (6 Goals) at the Rajasthan Polo Club ground here recently.

Padmanabh Singh was the chief architect of Team Jaipur USPA triumph with a splendid four-goal effort. South Africa's ace player Lance Watson provided Padmanabh able support by slamming 3 goals. Rao Himmat Singh Bedla scored a goal to boost the tally. Mahendra Singh also played for the team.

Shamsheer Ali (3 goals) and Bauti Alberdi (2 goals) fought well for Carysil Polo. Ranveer Singh Saharan and Kuldeep Singh Rathore also chipped in with a goal each for the losers.

Commandant 17 Raj Rif/Sawai Man, Col Deb Chandan Das was the chief guest on the occasion. He presented the trophy to the winning team.
