Paddy Pimblett responds to Logan Paul's threat to sue UFC star over video

Paddy Pimblett has fired back at Logan Paul's threat to sue him after 'The Baddy' made a video critiquing the sugar content of his hydration drink Prime.

UFC star Pimblett recently launched his own energy drink with Applied Nutrition and explained how the product is better than Paul's Prime Energy, of which he launched alongside fellow YouTuber KSI. Paul took offence to a part of Pimblett's video where he attempted to show how much two grams of sugar is, which is the sugar content in Prime, by pouring a large amount of it onto a table.

Responding to the YouTuber's comments, Pimblett has doubled down on his video by claiming the sugar he poured out was two grams, using a scale as proof. "Just wanted to clarify a few things for you Logan Paul," Pimblett wrote whilst also tagging his drink Prime Energy. "Body Fuel is the best hydration drink going, get yours at Applied Nutrition."

Whilst Paul didn't outrightly say he will sue Pimblett for his original video, the American said he could follow through with legal action if he wanted to. "I could technically sue the f*** out of you for that misinformation and that's a fact, you f***ing lied. The brand is s***, it makes Paddy look like a cheap sell-out," Paul said on his podcast.

"Let me tell you why that video was an 'L' on multiple accords on Paddy's part, it's a pretty f***ing embarrassing video. You are now associated with a cheap, s***, copycat beverage brand. It looks almost identical to Prime, the formula that they even use to create the drink, which is less calories, less sugar, is I think the sticking point."

Despite also mocking Pimblett for refusing to fly to Puerto Rico for a $1million sparring session with his brother Jake, Paul insisted that he likes the UFC star. Paul said he finds the Scouse fighter "entertaining" and was excited for his fight with Jared Gordon at UFC 282 earlier this month, of which Pimblett won by controversial decision.

Pimblett has said he is open to fighting Paul's brother Jake, but 'The Problem Child' would drop around 20lb if he was serious about stepping in the ring against him. 'The Baddy' even joked that he would consider taking Jake down and kicking him in the head if they had a sparring match.
