UFC star Paddy Pimblett claims he has spoken to Liverpool FC about fighting at Anfield - although fans will have to wait a while for plans to come to fruition. The 27-year-old is an avid Reds supporter and has previously outlined his intention to top the bill at an event at the iconic stadium.
Paddy the Baddy has quickly become one of the UFC’s most popular personalities and puts his unbeaten promotional record on the line against Jordan Leavitt at the O2 Arena on Saturday night. Pimblett saw off Rodrigo Vargas with a first-round submission when the UFC visited London most recently in March this year.
Saturday’s event is sold out with around 20,000 fans expected to be in attendance in the capital city and Pimblett wants to fight at a bigger venue in the UK.
