Christine McGuinness revealed that she has “no complaints” as she sought to shut down rumours of a split from Paddy McGuinness.
The 34-year-old model and television star, who has been married for 11 years, admitted that the couple had faced “difficult times” in the past but are currently in a good place.
Her remarks came after mounting rumours had emerged that brought into question their relationship.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, McGuinness maintained that she’s very “grateful” and “happy” about her marriage, adding that she “couldn’t ask for anything more.”
“We’re really good, honestly,” Ms. McGuinness told the publication.
She continued: “We have had difficult times but when I look back at our marriage and see where we are now, I think, ‘Wow, you know, we’ve done alright!’
“I first met Paddy 14 years ago and now we’ve got three gorgeous kids, we’ve been married for 11 years, we’re both busier than ever, but doing really great stuff. I couldn’t ask for anything more from him. I’m so grateful. I’m happy, I’ve got no complaints.”
The beauty queen first met her future husband in 2007 when she was modelling at a Liverpool event. The pair went on to tie the knot three years later and have since welcomed three children together, twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and Felicity, six.
Praising her husband’s parenting skills, McGuinness added: “when he’s at home, he makes it all about the kids. We’ve all grown as a family and it’s lovely.”
Last month fans raised concern about their relationship status after noticing several red flags.
For example at the start of June, the couple marked their 11th wedding anniversary but failed to make any public comment about the significant milestone.
What’s more, McGuinness hadn’t shared any photos of her husband on social media for months. The Sun also suggested that McGuinness may have had his tattoo tribute to Christine removed.
However, as her recent remarks suggest, the pair are in fact in a very good place.
