Paddy McGuinness shared a positive update with his many fans on the same day his ex Christine took herself off social media.
The Top Gear host told his social media followers he was staying in, and he was clearly pleased about it. The 49-year-old said: "Night in in. Toasted @modernbaker superloaf with Marks and Spencer chicken rillette. Heaven".
The update came the same day former Miss Liverpool Christine made the choice to have a "digital detox". Writing on Instagram, Christine said: "In a world of algorithms, hashtags and followers, I really want to embrace the true importance of human connection and go back to basics for a bit.

"P.S.. I'm not really sure what I think about the whole ‘social media silence’ announcement thing but I have lots of lovely followers on here who check in on me daily and I don’t want to worry anyone whilst I have a little quiet time.
"I am very happy and healthy, I’m just ready to embrace switching off, being present and living low key for a while".
Following their split last July, Paddy and Christine still live together and co-parent their three children Felicity, Leo and Penelope. The family has recently returned from a holiday where they had a "lovely time", according to Christine.
She said: "They don’t really enjoy travel or change. But with lots of prep and patience they done incredibly well and have absolutely loved it! Very very proud mummy."
