Paddy McClean insists he is ready to kick on from the disappointment of last season's Euro play-off final agony.
The defender has committed his future to Glentoran after signing a new contract extension that will take him up to the end of the 2024/25 season.
McClean came in for some criticism after he was sent off and conceded a penalty in the play-off defeat to Larne, with the Glens throwing away a 2-0 lead before losing 4-2 after extra time.

The former Derry City defender admits it was a disappointing end to the season, with Mick McDermott's side finishing third in the table and without a trophy.
McClean told GlensTV: "For me personally, last season ended disappointing. Not to get into Europe, and to get sent off in the last game.
"But we will get these pre-season games out of the way and then go into the season flying hopefully."
He added: "Pre-season has been going good. We came back a bit early to get cracking.
"The boys are looking forward to it. The boys are relatively fit and they will only get fitter ad stronger when the season starts."
McClean - one of McDermott's standout players since joining Glentoran back in 2019 - admits he was "surprised" to sign a new deal so quickly.
"I am delighted to get it done. I am actually surprised it happened so quick," he said, "I have had a good relationship with the club and the fans so I am happy to stay here for another few years.
"I seem to be signing a new deal every year. I am not complaining because it is a bit of security. I enjoy it here and it has been a good few years and long may it continue."
