Paddy Barnes managed to have the last laugh after Tommy McCarthy's hilarious Twitter takedown of the two-time Olympic bronze medallist.
The pair have been pals for years and enjoy indulging in some comical verbal sparring on social media.
Belfast boxer McCarthy hit Barnes with a low blow after the former boxer tweeted about Irish female sports stars inspiring the younger generation.

Barnes said: "Irish sport is dominated by our female athletes, having 2 daughters of my own they will have great female figures to aspire to if they ever wish to take up competitive sport."
McCarthy couldn't resist having a wee dig at Barnes, replying: "Indeed, cos their da is joke."
Barnes managed to have the last laugh by claiming McCarthy's comment was "lies", accompanied by an old photo of him covered in make-up after allowing his daughters to give him a makeover earlier this year.
Paddy did receive some support on Twitter, though.
Former world champion boxer Alex Arthur said: "If they have half the talent, ability & attributes of their Da they’re on their way!"
Meanwhile, Tony agreed with Paddy's sentiments, joking that his daughters will "take after their mother", Mari.
