The Green Bay Packers are working out four different kickers on Monday, according to Aaron Wilson of PFN.
With Mason Crosby’s injury situation still unresolved, the Packers worked out kickers Cameron Dicker, Chandler Staton, Matt Amendola and Parker White.
Dicker, who left Texas as the school’s leader in points scored among kickers, signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent in May but was released last week. He made 60 of 79 field goal attempts and was a two-time All-Big 12 selection at Texas. In one preseason game with the Rams, Dicker made all three extra point and punted three times for 158 yards (52.7 average).
Staton, an undrafted free agent out of Appalachian State, was a Groza Award semi-finalist in 2021. He set school records for points, field goals made and field goal percentage.
Ammendola made 13 of 19 field goals for the New York Jets last season. He went undrafted out of Oklahoma State in 2020.
White is South Carolina’s all-time leader in points scored. He previously had rookie mini-camp tryouts with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2021, White made 16 of 17 field goals and all 30 extra point attempts.
Crosby has been on the PUP list since the start of training camp after having knee surgery, potentially putting his availability into question for Week 1.
Ramiz Ahmed, who was signed last week as a replacement for injured kicker Gabe Brkic, made both field goals (including a 45-yarder) and two extra points during the Packers’ win over the New Orleans Saints last Friday night.
