The Green Bay Packers upgraded five different players from limited at practice on Wednesday to full participants on Thursday’s updated injury report.
Center Josh Myers (neck), linebacker Quay Walker (shoulder), receiver Dontayvion Wicks (chest), cornerback Keisean Nixon (quad) and safety Zayne Anderson (knee) all practiced in full on Thursday.
Unless there is a setback, all five should be considered likely to play without limitation during Sunday’s season finale against the Chicago Bears. Myers, Walker and Nixon are starters, Wicks is a key player in the passing game and Anderson has become a key part of the special teams equation.
Walker and Nixon have been playing through their respective injuries. Wicks missed last week’s win, while Myers and Anderson were both injured in Minnesota.
While the Packers have 21 players on the injury report, 10 of the 21 practiced in full on Thursday.
Although five players were upgraded, five players remained out: left guard Elgton Jenkins, outside linebacker Preston Smith, running back A.J. Dillon, safety Rudy Ford and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie.
Cornerback Jaire Alexander and linebacker De’Vondre Campbell were full participants for the second straight day, while receivers Christian Watson and Jayden Reed were both able to practice again in a limited capacity.
The Packers will practice again Friday before issuing a final injury report.
