Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo cleared the league’s concussion protocol, practiced fully on Friday and is now expected to start on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Garoppolo missed last week’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Rookie Aidan O’Connell took seven sacks and turned the ball over three times in the 24-17 defeat.

He threw an interception in all three games, and the Raiders averaged 15.0 points per game. His six interceptions are tied for the NFL high.
Garoppolo has made four starts against the Packers in his career — two in the regular season and two in the postseason. His teams are 3-1 against the Packers over the four starts. His last matchup with the Packers was the 49ers’ wild-card round win in Green Bay in January of 2022.
Will Garoppolo have his top target available? Former Packers receiver Davante Adams, a three-time All-Pro, missed practice again on Friday with a shoulder injury.
Both the Packers and Raiders will provide a final injury report and official playing time designations on Saturday.
