Packers-Steelers Game Ends With Near Brawl After Ugly Late Hit by Green Bay’s Zach Tom

The Packers and Steelers ended with a tense scuffle on the sideline after a game-clinching interception by the Pittsburgh defense.

Green Bay had the ball in the red zone with just three seconds left on the clock, trailing 23-19 and needing a touchdown to win the game.

Quarterback Jordan Love had one shot to take at the end zone, and fired a pass towards wide receiver Christian Watson who was hovering along the goal line. Watson was beat to the ball by safety Damontae Kazee, who picked off the pass and began running it back as the clock hit zero.

Kazee was eventually forced out of bounds, and was pursued into the sideline by Packers tackle Zach Tom. The late hit drew the attention of the Steelers sideline, and Tom's Packers teammates quickly stepped in to pull him away from the scrum.

Both sides met chest-to-chest before eventually being separated.

Flags were thrown on the play, but they were ultimately irrelevant, as the game was already zero. With the win, the Steelers move to 6-3 on the season, including a 4-2 record at home.
