Packers QB Jordan Love suffered an MCL injury in 34-29 loss to Eagles

Jordan Love will miss some time, but it’s unlikely to be season-ending after a test showed that the Packers star suffered an MCL injury in the closing seconds of the 34-29 loss to the Eagles on Friday night.

Love was forced to exit with seconds remaining in the contest, and the initial thought was that the quarterback may have injured his ankle or, even worse, his ACL.

Love, who signed a four-year, $220 million extension this summer, limped off the field with assistance after getting injured with 6 seconds left.

Love went 17 of 34 for 260 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

Green Bay hosts Anthony Richardson and the Colts on Sunday, and the Packers could use Malik Willis at quarterback or sign a free agent.
