The rollercoaster season of Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari took another dip on Sunday at Ford Field.
Bakhtiari, who started the contest and played the first two quarters, wasn’t on the field to open the second half and is now considered to be questionable to return due to a knee injury.
Bakhtiari’s availability is now a drive-to-drive issue for the Packers.
The five-time All-Pro played a full game against the New York Jets in Week 6, sat out the Packers’ loss as a surprise inactive in Washington in Week 7 and then returned to play another full game last week. The Packers listed Bakhtiari as questionable to play on Sunday.
It’s possible the turf at Ford Field is playing a part in Bakhtiari’s knee issue.
Rookie Zach Tom replaced Bakhtiari at left tackle for the second half against the Lions.
