Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander is truly one of a kind. From his dependable play on the field to his impeccable sense of humor, the latter was on full display Monday morning when he crashed a news reporter’s live shot outside Lambeau Field. Fortunately, the reporter was a good sport about Alexander’s unexpected cameo—although she didn’t recognize him.
While standing in for a live shot a day after the Packers’ regular season ended Monday, WBAY-TV’s Emily Roberts was interrupted by a very lively Alexander.
“I’m just here to tell you Pack is back!” Alexander said into the camera before putting on sunglasses and running off.
Completely caught off guard, Roberts rolled with the punches like a true professional and said, “You heard it from a fan right here: Pack is back.”

Alexander’s message threw off Roberts to the point that she didn’t notice that the excited fan was actually the team’s two-time Pro Bowl cornerback. But Roberts’s response and professionalism made the moment all the more perfect.
Green Bay (9–8) plays in an NFC wild-card game Sunday at the Dallas Cowboys (12–5), with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
