Green Bay Packers edge rusher Rashan Gary made his debut on the NFL’s Top 100, ranking as the No. 50 player in the Top 100 Players of 2024 list on Friday.
The 2019 first-round pick produced 9.0 sacks, 22 quarterback hits and two forced fumbles during the 2023 season, his first season back after tearing his ACL in November of 2022.
According to Pro Football Focus, Gary finished with 60 total pressures, second-most on the Packers defense behind Kenny Clark (61). He had a career-high 81 pressures during the 2021 season and was on track for another disruptive season in 2022 before suffering a significant injury.
Healthy throughout the offseason and transitioning to a 4-3 defensive end in Jeff Hafley’s scheme, Gary could be on the verge of a career season in 2024.
Gary isn’t likely to be the only Packers player on the list for this season. Quarterback Jordan Love, who just signed a record-breaking four-year contract extension, figures to be a top 40 player. The final 40 players will be released in the next few days.
