Packers add another assistant to strength and conditioning staff

The Green Bay Packers added another assistant to the team’s rebuilt strength and conditioning staff. On Wednesday, the Packers announced the hiring of Todd Hunt, who will be an assistant under Aaron Hill after spending the last five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hunt joins Marcus Jones and Ben Schumaker as strength and conditioning assistants in Green Bay. Jones and Schumaker both previously worked in the college ranks, so Hunt is bringing NFL experience to Hill’s new staff.

Hunt worked under head strength and conditioning coach Joey Boese in Cincinnati.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur let go of the team’s strength and conditioning staff following the 2023 and began the rebuild by hiring Hill, who worked five seasons as an assistant with the San Francisco 49ers.

Hunt played four seasons at Fresno State (2012-15), spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Fresno State (2016-17) and one season as an assistant at Illinois (2018) before arriving in the NFL with the Bengals.
