LUCKNOW: A pack of stray dogs wreaked havoc in Thakurganj area by killing a five-year-old boy and critically injuring his seven-year-old sister.
The incident triggered panic in the area as the dogs even growled furiously at residents who tried to shoo them away. By the time help could reach the children, the dogs had sunk their teeth into the bodies of the siblings, killing one of them and injuring the other. The girl is still battling for life at the trauma centre of the King George's Medical University (KGMU).
