MUMBAI: Not picked by the Mumbai selectors for the Ranji Trophy on the grounds that he “wasn’t fully fit,” pacer Tushar Deshpande is continuing to make a statement in the Times Shield ‘A’ Division.
On Wednesday, the 26-year-old took three for 30 in 17 overs for BPCL to reduce Air India to 172 for nine on day two at the Indian Airlines Ground in Kalina.
Deshpande had scored 42 and taken five for 67 in the last game. Earlier, Dev Patel’s 109 (148b, 4x13) took BPCL to 312.
