PACEARTH Recalls About 110,550 Amazon Swing Seats After Breaking Parts Led to Falls, Fractures and Head Injuries

About 110,550 PACEARTH swing seats sold on Amazon are being recalled because the seats, metal carabiners or quick links, or webbing straps can break during use and cause riders to fall. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall Oct. 8.

The company, Pacearth Direct of City of Industry, California, has received at least 30 reports of falls, resulting in at least nine injuries. CPSC said the injuries included fractures, head injuries, and bruising.
