Epic’s never-ending quest to incorporate every brand into Fortnite continues as another 80s arcade icon joins the fray.
On Monday, the official Japanese Pac-Man website announced that there’ll be a crossover with Fortnite soon. Now I imagine you think this means the ghost-gobbling fiend himself will be in the battle royale phenomenon as a playable character. It doesn’t look like that’s the case, though, as the post specifically mentions items. Maybe Namco doesn’t want everyone mowing down its beloved icon, who knows!
The Fortnite collaboration with Pac-Man begins June 2, 2022. We have no idea what items will be part of the crossover, but those details are surely coming soon.

It’s worth mentioning that Epic hasn’t publicly commented on this announcement as of the time of this post, which is kind of strange. Typically, when companies come together for this sort of thing, both organizations sync up to get the word out — all I’m really hinting at here is specific details might change once Epic weighs in.
If this promotion pushes you to try Fortnite by some slight chance, there’s never been a better time to jump in. It won’t be long until you’re completing as many challenges as possible. Rest assured.
